Foreign students may attend the regular study programme at the university of their choice (in dutch or sometimes in english) or attend courses designed for foreigners (in english). International study exchange has proven to be most successful with foreign students who have finished at least two years of higher education in their specific field of interest in their home country.

Croatian nationals need a permit for temporary residence for a stay in The Netherlands for purposes of study (MVV). All information about the requirements to obtain this permit is available at the Consular section of this Embassy. You are recommended to start the application procedure at an early stage.
