One of the prime objectives of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Zagreb is to promote the economic ties between the Netherlands and the Republic of Croatia. Not only that trade and foreign direct investments (FDI) between the Netherlands and Croatia are becoming increasingly important; the Republic of Croatia is also in the Netherlands Constituency Group of IMF and World Bank.

The Economic and Commercial Section of the Embassy offers assistance to Dutch companies that want to invest in Croatia or export their products/services to Croatia, as well as to Croatian companies that want to find a partner, supplier or subcontractor in the Netherlands.
